If you are a student or employed at WUR, you can easily make your local groceries at the Care farm, The Hoge Born. You can visit the farm and meet wonderful special people and make use of the “Student Discount”.
The Ommuurde Tuin is a splendid veggie farm and garden located between Wageningen and Renkum. It’s a splendidly designed walled garden where ancient varieties of veggies and fruits are produced with agroecological methods. Open on Wed. and Sat. from April to November.
Those living in Bennekom can also grab our mushrooms, at the farm shop of Boerderij van Steenbergen. Say hi to the wallabies on your way in & enjoy the family atmosphere whilst you do your weekly shop!
If you live in Ede, you cannot miss the care farm: Makandra! Here splendid people are healed while farming! Seasoal-produced veggies and shiitake mushrooms (from the farm itself), are available at the in-house shop. Open from April to November.
